🚨Vance Was In Area Mins Before Secret Service Shot Man Near WH

Security concerns escalated in White House after a shooting incident unfolded near the Washington Monument on Monday evening. Authorities reported that a suspicious individual was spotted in the area and, during a confrontation, opened fire on United States Secret Service agents. The suspect was ultimately shot and neutralized.

According to Deputy Director Mathew C. Quinn, the  occurred just minutes after Vice President JD Vance had departed the vicinity. The Secret Service confirmed the situation, stating that officers responded to an “officer-involved shooting” at the intersection of 15th Street and Independence Avenue. Officials clarified that the confrontation began when agents encountered an armed individual.

During the incident, a young bystander was injured but later transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The shooting took place on the National Mall, roughly a mile from the White House. Despite the distance, security protocols prompted a temporary evacuation of the White House complex before an “all clear” was issued.

The Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia has launched an investigation and urged the public to avoid the area due to road closures.

This घटना follows closely on the heels of another alarming case involving Cole Tomas Allen, who allegedly attempted to infiltrate the White House Correspondents’ Dinner attended by Donald Trump. Prosecutors claim Allen intended to assassinate the president and harm senior officials. Authorities say he traveled cross-country armed with a shotgun and handgun and left behind a manifesto outlining his motives. The case remains under active investigation as officials consider additional charges.
