Doomsday map ‘leaked’: These 7 U.S. cities are Put!n’s pr!me nuc!ear targets

A so-called “doomsday map” claiming that Vladimir Putin has identified seven U.S. targets for nuclear strikes has sparked alarm, but there is no verified evidence supporting such a claim. While global tensions remain elevated—particularly with conflicts involving Russia, Ukraine, Iran, and Israel—experts caution against taking viral maps or unconfirmed reports at face value.

Historically, strategic analyses have suggested that key military bases, infrastructure hubs, and political centers could be targets in a large-scale conflict, but these are theoretical scenarios rather than active plans. The United States’ support for allies has drawn criticism from Russia, yet harsh rhetoric does not indicate an imminent nuclear attack. Overall, fears of an approaching World War III fueled by such claims appear exaggerated and unsupported by credible intelligence.
