At the same time, scrutiny of Jeffrey Epstein’s financial network has intensified in Congress. Richard Kahn, a longtime accountant for Epstein, recently testified before the House Oversight Committee about financial settlements and complex transactions tied to Epstein’s activities and associations. Lawmakers questioned him closely, including about a reported settlement involving allegations against former President Donald Trump, which have been denied. While inconsistencies in testimony do not prove misconduct, investigators believe financial records could reveal how abuses were facilitated or concealed. For victims, these efforts mark a significant step toward uncovering long-hidden truths.
