Authorities in Indonesia have confirmed that they have located the missing plane that went suddenly off the radar yesterday.
The wreckage of the fisheries surveillance plane was believed to be carrying 11 people as it went missing yesterday in the country’s South Sulawesi province. However, the fate of the 11 people remains unknown, as some speculations talked about the retrieval of a body today.

Rescue teams found sections of the plane, including parts of the fuselage, tail, and a window as well. These were all scattered around the fog-shrouded slopes of Mount Bulusaraung in the Maros region on Sunday morning. The mountainous terrain and heavy mist have made the entire process of rescue and recovery a difficult one. Strong winds and low visibility were also said to be making the matter more complicated for the operation to occur. Authorities did confirm added more rescue groups to try to expand the search operations.
