BREAKING NEWS: Just 40 minutes, a tremendous fire broke out in…

A powerful earthquake struck near the China-Myanmar border early today, sending strong tremors across the region and triggering panic in communities hundreds of miles away.

The quake struck without warning, violently shaking buildings and forcing terrified residents to flee into the streets as homes, businesses, and other structures swayed under the force of the tremor.

Within moments, what began as an initial jolt escalated into one of the strongest earthquakes to hit the region in recent years. Witnesses described scenes of chaos as frightened families rushed outside, many barefoot and still in their sleepwear, while dust and debris filled the air.

In several hard-hit areas, buildings suffered significant damage, with some structures collapsing into piles of rubble. Emergency crews were quickly deployed as authorities began assessing the extent of the destruction and searching for anyone who may be trapped.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake originated near the China-Myanmar border, with powerful tremors felt across southern China, northern Myanmar, and northern Thailand.

Major cities including Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai experienced strong shaking, prompting residents to evacuate buildings and gather in open areas. Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation as aftershocks remain possible and damage assessments continue.
