EXCLUSIVE: Brad Pitt Bemoans Being ‘Deprived of the Quiet Enjoyment’ of Using $164Million French Chateau — as He Slams Ex-wife Angelina Jolie for Dragging Her Feet in 4-Year Court Battle

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie remain locked in a long-running legal dispute over their jointly owned French winery, Château Miraval, with no resolution in sight.

Pitt, 62, filed a lawsuit in 2022 claiming that Jolie, 50, sold her stake in the business to Stoli Group without his approval, allegedly violating their agreement. The case has already experienced multiple delays and continues to move slowly through the courts.

According to a recent status report, Jolie’s legal team has requested that the trial, currently scheduled for February, be postponed until November 2027, citing the need for additional preparation time. Pitt’s representatives have strongly opposed the request.

His lawyers argued that the case has been pending for more than four years and said further delays are unjustified. They also claimed the prolonged dispute has affected both the winery’s operations and Pitt’s ability to enjoy his property in France.

The legal team added that uncertainty surrounding ownership has complicated business operations and contributed to ongoing tensions between the parties. They urged the court to proceed as scheduled so that the matter can finally be resolved and both sides can move forward.

The dispute over Château Miraval remains one of the most high-profile post-divorce legal battles in Hollywood. Neither Pitt nor Jolie has publicly commented further on the latest scheduling dispute as the court considers whether to grant another extension in the ongoing case moving forward at present.
